Boat trips La Truchère
At La Truchère in the Saône-et-Loire region, near the Mepillat campsite, the Base Nautique l’Embarcadère offers boat cruises lasting 1 h 30, with advance booking. You can rent boats without a license, motor boats or electric boats.
Departure from the La Truchère nautical base, located on the Seille (a small river navigable for 39 kilometers). You will be guided by the captain to the dam, formerly a needle dam, automated in 2009. Then the journey continues through a lock (manual lock) which opens its doors to you at the confluence of 2 rivers. On this cruise, you’ll sail between the Seille and Saône rivers. The captain will comment on the visit. Back to the nautical base.
The course is defined as follows:
- Departure from the Truchère nautical base,
- lock passage
- ascent of the Saône
- guided tour of the Truchère dam
- return with lock passage
- up the Seille to Pont Seille
- back to the Truchère nautical base
